As Enrolled Agents in good standing with many professional tax associations, we are required to attend many hours of continuing education each year. In this way, and by keeping up with the many publications from the IRS and other organizations, we make certain that we are up-to-date with the newest tax regulations.
You can rest easy knowing that we are paying close attention and watching out for the best interests of our clients.
Melody Lavoie-Costa and Christina Wilson are both Enrolled Agents who are committed to keeping up with the many tax law changes each year, through extensive continuing education and association with several professional organizations.
What is an Enrolled Agent?
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation, and is licensed to represent taxpayers for audits, collections, and appeals before the International Revenue Service at all administrative levels. EA's are the only tax practitioners required by federal law to maintain their expertise through continual professional education.
In Short—Enrolled Agents are the tax professionals.
